Working with our client, we have finally concluded all the contract paperwork, including Homes England funding, and the initial phase of works has now commenced on site.
We have been working with a specialist scaffolding design company to complete the design of the complicated tiered scaffolding and mast climber access design to give safe access to the high level stepped façade.
We have also been negotiating with specialist panel manufacturers to discuss the design and manufacturing process for in excess of 4000 replacement spandrel panels required on the project. The site team are programmed to commence a detailed survey and scheduling of these over the next few months, with the first panel being required on site late summer 2026.
The next stage will be the erection of the scaffolding deck which runs around three sides of the building to provide a material distribution zone to ensure safe separation from the residents and general public at ground level.
