Assignment Details

• To closely manage the installation package including design, procurement and on site installation coordination with Sub Contractors
• Negotiate and engage Sub Contract packages
• Review and agree on site installation programme with Main Contractor and other Sub Contractors
• Format and issue all Health and Safety project documentation
• Monitor and report on site installation budget

Project Challenges

• The variety of non standard items included in the package required in-depth design discussions with a variety of Sub Contractors to ensure the various products coordinated with each other
• This coordination was also required at the programming, logistical and on site installation stages of the contract
• We worked closely with the Main Contractor and other Sub Contractors involved in the project to coordinate the design and installation programme
• Due to the nature of the client we worked within very short time frames which required close communication and liaison at all stages of the contract
• On site glazing of the 3m x 4 m toughened and laminated double glazed sealed units was undertaken by a specialist glazing company utilizing mechanical lifting equipment

Project Results

• The final installation of the various products works well aesthetically
• The various products function well together to give a fictional working environment for the end user
• On Budget
