Integral Management is delighted to be able to continue its role as Project Manager for another fire remediation project in Leeds
Whitehall Waterfront is a purpose-built residential apartment building, built circa 2004. The current use of the building is mixed use premises with commercial and residential accommodation, primary use being residential apartments
Through vigorous inspection and a reporting system, it has been determined that the building is deemed to have potentially hazardous flammable materials as part of the external facade make up. The existing render on EPS insulation system, Aluminium cladding panels and high levels of bullnose aluminium soffit cladding at the roof level, will require fire remediation to make the building safeĀ
We have already managed the delivery of the Building Safety Regulator information for the various aspects of the building design and fire safety information which are required by the BSR to achieve approval for this HBR building
Within the external facade, there are over 3500 m sq. of render and aluminium cladding panels which along with insulation and CP board will be removed and replaced with new non combustible products. Due to the high level step back design of the building Integral is working closely with specialist access companies to design detailed temporary works and access strategies for the main works which are due to commence on site in August 2025
